MIKROTIK TROUBLESHOOTING

As of 11/18/2020 there are only 3 sites with Mikrotik equipment for radio CPE (LHG 60G)

As with any other technical support call, it is critical you accurately asses the nature of the problem for the fastest resolution.

NOTE: you MUST use Winbox to log into Mikrotik CPE. You can only log in from inside the Intellipop network, like all other CPE

SLOW SPEEDS: COMMON CAUSES

DOWN RADIO: COMMON CAUSES

INTERNET DOWN, RADIO ONLINE: COMMON CAUSES

INTERMITTENT CONNECTION: COMMON CAUSES

Poor Signal / Connection

First, log into the Mikrotik radio via Winbox

CAUTION: MIKROTIK IS UNFORGIVING. ANY CHANGES MADE ARE INSTANT!! BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU CLICK ON

To check the signal, do the following:

  1. Click on “Wireless”
  2. Click on the “W60G” tab
  3. Doubleclick the wlan60-1 row
  4. On the new window, click on Status

If any or some of these settings are worse than listed here, this could indicate a problem. Please proceed with a normal bypass test to www.fast.com
