Processing A Payment

Always check for an open ticket regarding a payment arrangement or delinquent account.

If the customer wants to use a card on file verify the last 4 digits of the card and the balance they are going to be paying. Never submit a payment without verifying this information unless you just added it yourself.

To process a payment go to the billing tab on the customers profile

Locate the Accounting section towards the center of the screen, and click on Submit CreditCard or BankAccount Payment.

You will now need to select the card they want to use. Always verify the last 4 digits of the card and click next. On the next page it will have you verify the amount of the payment before processing it.

Once you have processed the payment verify it went through successfully and that the balance on the account dropped by the amount paid. You can always check the balance due on an account on the billing page in the upper left hand corner.
