The default IP address of a brand new radio is http:/192.168.1.20
Note: All of these radios in use are used, you may need to factory default the radio by using a paperclip to push the factory default button on the radio. The factory default button is next to the Ethernet port on the radio and will need to be removed from the antenna for access.
To reach the radio, do the following:
Set your IP address to 192.168.1.100 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0 (figure 1)
open a command prompt and run the command (without quotes): “ping 169.254.1.1 -t”
Confirm you are able to ping the radio
Log into the radio by opening a browser and going to http://192.168.1.20
