This page is for information regarding the configuring, and troubleshooting of the Calix router. Also known as the Intellipop Router.

Configuration

  1. Plug the router into power using the power cable that comes with it, and make sure the ON/OFF button is pushed.
  2. Plug an ethernet cable that is receiving data into the ETH-WAN (White) port, and wait for the router to boot up.

After the router has fully powered on the POWER, BROADBAND, SERVICE, WiFi 2.4GHz, and WiFi 5 GHz lights on the front should all be green. If this is the case you are ready to use the Calix Cloud to configure this router.

* Once you are logged in click on NetOps in upper right hand corner as shown below, and then click Add Subscriber.

  • Fill out requested information for the customer and hit the blue Submit button. Account and Subscriber Location ID are both going to be the CUID.

  • Click the button that pops up Click here to add a system

  • Enter the FSAN/SSID that is on the router into the RegID/FSAN/MAC Address/SN box as show below. After you have done this the other fields will auto populate. Hit the Next button.

  • Set the SSID and Passphrase for the 2.4GHz network and for the 5GHz network, make sure to make the 5GHz network the same name followed by 5GHz.
