This page is for information regarding new subscribers, pricing and verifying an address for Utopia Service.

Steps you will take for signing up a new Fiber subscriber.

**Pricing**

We currently offer two plans on our fiber service 250 Mbps and 1Gpbs.Intellipop and Utopia have separate billing, meaning they will get 2 bills monthly

-250 Mbps plan is $34.95/mo to Intellipop and a $30/mo municipal fee to Utopia.

-1 Gbps plan is $46.95/mo to Intellipop and a $30/mo municipal fee to Utopia.

Qualify a Fiber Address

Log into https://crm.utopiafiber.com/authentication/login with your CRM credentials:

Once logged in, do the following:

  1. Click Utopia Service Map

- Enter the customers address and click the magnifying glass If serviceable the address will be highlighted green as shown below.

  1. Note the Footprint that the address is located in. In the above example it is OR024A.

Keep this tab open and continue to create a Lead in Powercode

Do the following in Powercode:

  1. Create a Lead in Powercode and get all their normal information
  2. Set their billing to the 1st of each month
  3. VERY IMPORTANT In the customer notes, enter “*Fiber Sub* UTOPIA Address ID - ##### UTOPIA NOC needs to be called to reactivate if delinquent” with their address ID from the previous steps

Processing the Order

After you have verified service is available you will need to process the order through Utopia's website. This can can be done through the following link or you can go to Utopia's website and click on “Check Availability” https://www.utopiafiber.com/sign-up/#/start/

  1. Fill out the infomation requested on the screen and hit Check Address

  1. Scroll down until you find Intellipop and you will want to select the appropriate plan.
  2. click Select Package

  1. Click Choose Month-To-Month Lease Agreement

  • Fill out the requested information, make sure all customer information is correct, including spelling.
  • Click Next.

  • Verify the service plan is selected correctly and hit Submit.

After you hit submit you will need to close the sale and answer any questions they may have.

Close the Sale

Answer any questions about the service they might have. Explain to them the process - we will submit their information to Utopia and they will receive an e-mail shortly where they have to e-sign some documents. Once those documents are signed, Utopia will call them to schedule an installation. After installation, Intellipop will be their primary contact for technical support and general information.

TV and Phone Options / What makes us different?

You might be asked what makes Intellipop different. Price wise all the providers will be very similar in price but what sets us apart is our customer service. We offer 24/7 support and we work hard to keep a good reputation online.

We also do everything we can to save our customers money by switching to Intellipop.

We don't currently offer TV/Phone but we can make recommendations that will save our customers money.

For Phone, our #1 recommendation is Ooma. You buy their box at Best Buy and the only monthly fees you pay on a basic local/long distance plan will be State and Federal taxes ($3-$5/mo compared to $15-$20/mo for other providers)

For TV - ask if they local television stations are important. If yes, recommend YouTube TV as they carry all the local channels. If not, we like SlingTV with their al-a-cart month to month TV packages and DVR.
